Libraries across the nation are eliminating late fees in a push for social equity. Those rental fees, and associated fines for late returns, still apply. The Delta library charges rental fees for some items, including new movies, video games and new television shows. If an account has more than 10 items overdue or $10 in charges, the library will suspend the account until those issues are resolved. The library will continue charge for lost or damaged materials. An item not turned in 60 days after its due date will be considered lost by the library, resulting in a charge.
